Aloft Minneapolis

Very clean and cool, not overly trendy but sharp, and the gal at the front desk went above and beyond the call of duty to help me track down my lost luggage from the airline.

Very well designed room. The bedding was excellent.

Our room was not ready at 3pm when it was guaranteed. Some of the staff was not very helpful and other staff was very good. No orange juice available at breakfast.

The rooms are well-appointed, the bar is casual.

The staff are young, hip and friendly. Plus they have giant Connect Four! They have a shuttle; we didn't use it, but it's a nice feature.

Don't buy food from their little market (as cute and convenient as it is). There is a market down the street where you don't pay $3.00 for a soda.

Nope - Booked.net maybe. Never got a email copy of my reservation. Thank goodness I've stayed at the property before, and there was no trouble.

Location was great; setting was contemporary, fresh, and clean

The hotel had a central location and it was feet from Guthrie Theater. Enjoyed the contemporary-style building and nice modern and stocked room with double beds.

Great location. Good value for the money. Great modern style!

There was a large stain on the comforter and a couple other stains on walls and window treatment.

The breakfast situation could be improved, as there wasn't much seating for dining.

Nice location. Not a great place to go with young kiddos though (the open space was nice, but couldn't block off anything for the kiddo to not get into (but then again, where is a good place?)

Easy parking and transportation to downtown area

Upon check in reserved room with specified bed choice had been given away. Staff was very courteous and efficient in finding a solution by having other rooms cleaned and made available in very short time.

The fragrance in the lobby: so strong !

Friendly and helpful staff giving a warm greeting on check in/arrival. Rooms are clean, well-equipped and very good value for money.

The view from the room was not especially exciting!

It was just a fitting option for a brief hiatus in Minneapolis with good value. The fridge they replaced worked fine after a bit of a wait. Make sure to check the parking situation ahead of time.

I liked the lounge and bar area the best

I disliked the room. Tiniest room ever, didn't really like the fridge being under the sink close to the bathroom and no trashbags in the trashcan which I would think would just make a harder job to clean but maybe they choose to keep costs down?
